Captain Kidd Description: "Historical accuracy goes right out the window in this tale of the notorious pirate Captain Kidd. But who cares? Charles Laughton appears to be having a blast playing the buccaneer (a safe assumption, since he would agree to play Kidd again in Abbott And Costello Meet Captain Kidd). This time around, Kidd poses as a shipbuilder in order to escort one of the King of England's treasure-laden ships through the pirate-infested waters of Madagascar. (Naturally, there's also a beautiful woman aboard.) Of course, Captain Kidd and his crew of cutthroats have some nefarious plans of their own."
